Coventry City are closing in on a major attacking addition, with Nigerian striker Taiwo Awoniyi set to join the newly promoted Premier League side from Nottingham Forest on a permanent transfer.

A club-to-club agreement has been reached, while Awoniyi is undergoing his medical ahead of the move, according to reports confirmed by transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano.
